Who we are
Pop it in is a trading name of SquareNext BV, based in the Netherlands. We are responsible for the personal data received through this website. Questions? Email info@popitin.nl.
What data and why
Contact form. Your name, company, email address, role and message. We use these only to answer your question. Legal basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in responding.
Newsletter. Your email address and, if you provide it, your LinkedIn profile. We send you the European Deposit Return Newsletter and occasional news about Pop it in, and if you provide your LinkedIn profile, we may also contact you there. Legal basis: your consent. You subscribe via a confirmation email (double opt-in), and we keep a record of when and how you gave your consent.
Technical. Our hosting provider keeps server logs, such as your IP address, for a short time to keep the site secure and working. We use the country of your IP address only to send you to the right language on the homepage; it is not stored.
Cookies
We use one functional cookie: lang, which remembers the language you chose for one year. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics tools that follow you.
Who we share data with
Only with the parties that run the site for us, under agreements on how they handle your data: Vercel (hosting and forms) and Resend (sending email and managing the mailing list). Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address in the process. We never sell your data and do not share it with others for their marketing.
How long we keep it
Contact requests: as long as needed to help you, and then for no more than two years. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe; we then delete your data and keep only the fact that you unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again by mistake.
Unsubscribing and your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time, using the link at the bottom of every newsletter or by emailing info@popitin.nl. You can also ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected, erased or transferred. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
